Days 59 to 61 29-7-2007 to 31-7-2007 Taupo

It was raining when i reached Taupo, and it was raining when i left. I made the mastake of booking 3 nights here (using the philosophy that any less and you cant get a proper feel for the place). One day is enough (unless you like fishing. This place is renowned for trout). Summer might be a different story. theres more stuff to do on the river. Still it gave me a chance to catchup on things. such as Seing a couple of films. (TIP when travelling, put off going to the cinema, untill you're forced to. i.e. raining and nothing else to do).
